This Extended Protection Plan is Administered by Jolie Home Decor & Furniture and, when added to your furniture purchase, is effective for a period of 10 years from the date of delivery or pick up. It is an agreement between Jolie Home & YOU, the Purchaser, and is subject to compliance with the provisions here of & the exclusions set out below. THIS IS NOT A CLEANING SERVICE, but a Protection Plan for Accidental stains & damage for furniture.
It represents the entire agreement between the parties. No representation, promise or condition not contained herein shall modify these terms.
OBLIGATIONS OF FURNITURE OWNER FOR ITEMS COVERED BY THIS PLAN
Your will be obligated to provide your original sales bill number, with proof of the 10 yr Protection Plan purchase on set sales bill. Your current contact info will also be required to move forward with a claim. Failure to provide this to Jolie Home could result in the denial of your claim.
Jolie Home will not be responsible for reporting stains or issues with your product that may be covered by the plan. Inquiries on how to treat or clean stains or accidents are best directed to Jolie Home's Service Team. Jolie Home will also not be liable for denied claims, should you not report the issue to Jolie Home in the required 14 day time frame.
Jolie Home's 10 year Protection Plan covers many stains & accidental issues, but DOES NOT COVER HUMAN &/OR PET ABUSE, or regular wear from every day use. You The Purchaser will still be responsible for regular maintenance o f your furniture IE. vacuuming of fabrics, cleaning regular dirt build up from regular household use on fabrics & leathers, conditioning leather & wiping wood tops clean with water when spilled on.
SECTION 1 : COVERAGE FOR UPHOLSTERY - In the event that the Plan Covered furniture in fabric, full or top grain leather, leather look, bi-cast, bonded or vinyl leather becomes accidentally stained by the specified items named, Jolie Home agrees to provide the Plan Services outlined in SECTION 3 with respect to the stained or damaged area.
SECTION 2 : COVERAGE FOR MOTION COMPONENTS - In the event that the covered product is a motion &/or Power motion product, and experiences a mechanical or electrical failure, Jolie Home agrees to provide the plan services outlined in SECTION 4 to restore the Covered product to normal operating condition. This covers motors, gear units/pistons, control modules, transformers (backup batteries excluded), switches, remotes, massage units, heat units & wiring connectors. This coverage is limited to Manufacturer’s Guidelines and starts the date of delivery/pick up.
SECTION 3 : AVAILABLE PLAN SERVICES - The following Plan Services will be provided by Jolie Home for your Covered Product under this Protection Plan:
A) You may request a free Professional stain removal &/or repair advice by Contacting Jolie Home at 613-384-1800 during normal business hours. You may also submit a Request for Service through the Contact section of this website . We may request photos or images of the stain/damage area to assist in assessing your request for service; and we may, at our opinion, deliver cleaning solution to you to assist with removing the stain;
B) If the accidental damage/stain requires, Jolie Home will arrange to have the covered product serviced at your location by a local professional technician at no charge to you;
C) If the technician determines that stain removal or damage repair must be made away from your location, the covered product will be removed, cleaned or repaired & returned to your home at no additional charge to you within 50 km from the store;
D) If the technician cannot remove the stain or accidental damage, Jolie Home will replace the damaged portion, subject to the availability or materials &/or replacement items;
E) If the replacement items o r materials are not available, or the accidental damage or mechanical or electrical failure to the covered product cannot be repaired, Jolie Home agrees to EXCHANGE the covered product with a similar item of comparable value of the ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE (excluding taxes) . REPLACEMENT applies to only covered products and not items purchased at the same time as the covered product. The Owner (you) shall provide Jolie Home with your ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT PRIOR TO obtaining approval to exchange the covered product. The original product must be returned to Jolie Home. The covered product’s PURCHASE PRICE (excluding taxes) will be issued as a STORE CREDIT at Jolie Home.
F) Jolie Home is not responsible for variations in dye lot of any materials, replacement items or products.
G) With the replacement of any covered product, the obligations of Jolie Home under this Protection Plan for further replacement will have been fulfilled & no further services will be provided.
SECTION 4 : REGISTRATION & ELIGIBILITY - To be eligible for Plan Services, this Protection Plan is NOT TRANSFERABLE. It is limited to the covered product’s ORIGINAL OWNER ONLY, within CANADA.
To obtain Plan Services - CLAIMS MUST BE MADE TO JOLIE HOME WITHIN 14 DAYS of the accidental stain/damage to the covered product. Claims will only be considered by Jolie Home subject to the following:
1. Covered products are delivered to the Owner soil free & without stains, flaws, tears, rips, scratches or any other damage;
2. Cleaning or stained area or repair of the Covered product is performed only as directed by Jolie Home.

Household food & drink stains
Accidental rips , tears or burns
Pen ink & crayon
cosmetics & nail polish
Power Motion Furniture
IN HOME SERVICE FEES
PLAN EXCLUSIONS - Requests for Plan services cannot be accepted by Jolie Home for the following:
A) Any item NOT specified as Covered products by this plan;
B) Failure to comply with the Manufacturer’s instructions for use, cleaning or regular maintenance of the Covered product;
C) Abuse or misuse of the Covered product;
D) Damage resulting from improper use, physical damage, improper installation, moisture, liquid spills into motors or mechanics , lightning, power failures &/or power surges;
E) Regular Wear & Tear caused by repeated use, accumulated soiling, build up of perspiration & bodily or hair oils, mold, mildew, fading, or any other colour variation, or odors o f any kind;
F) Natural markings or characteristics in leather that cause appearance variations;
G) Damage caused by animals abuse & cat urine
H) Separating or stretching of covering material, seam separation or deterioration of any material components;
I) Covered products in transit other than Jolie Home Delivery Services;
J) Paint, bleach, permanent dyes, corrosives, acids & gum;
K) Any X-coded fabric products made of natural materials such as silk, or virgin wool;
L) Any unfinished wood, ceramic, quartz, marble or similar products;
M) ANY AS-IS Products sold at Jolie Home
N) Covered products used in PUBLIC AREAS, such as rental properties or commercial use;
O) Damage covered by the manufacturer warranty, other protection/service plans or insurance programs;
P) Acts of GOD, fraud, intentional acts, war, or hostilities of any kind if arising from illegal activity.
Q) Surface scratches on wood from regular household use
The NEW 10 YEAR PLAN is only applicable to purchased plans effective September 1, 2023 and onward. Previous 5 Year Plans will be honoured until their end date of 5 years From the date of delivery. Identical Eligibility, accidental stains & exclusions apply regardless of Plan time.
NOTE TO OWNER
Th e Maxim um coverage liability of this Protection Plan shall not exceed the original purchase price of the covered product (s). The Owner (you) will be required to cooperate reasonably with Jolie Home in its efforts to provide the services under this Protection Plan. Any provision contained herein which is found to be contrary to any local law shall be deemed null & void; however the remaining provisions shall continue in full force & effect. By purchasing the plan, the Owner agrees that the obligations provided in this agreement shall constitute the full & only remmities for any failure of the Jolie Home Product or service to function as warranted. In no event shall the Owner have any other remedy at law or equity for any direct or indirect consequences of failure of the Jolie Home product or service to perform.
